I want to update everyone who has supported me and those following my story. This is my current status update regarding the FIR I filed on May 30, 2025 at Danilimda Police Station, Ahmedabad, against Tosif Sadikali Virani and Yasmin Sadikali Virani.

- FIR filed: May 30, 2025 (Danilimda PS, Ahmedabad).
- Allegations: Dowry harassment, fraud, physical and mental abuse, and related offences (as recorded in the FIR).
- Current situation (my understanding): The accused, my husbad, Tosif Virani appear to be residing abroad (Dubai/Sharjah) and have not cooperated with the local investigation or court orders. My jewellery remains with the accused mother-in-law Yasmin Virani and has not been returned.
- My goal: Return of my jewellery, a full investigation, and legal accountability.
What has happened so far
- I filed the FIR on May 30, 2025 and the matter is registered with the police.
- The police have the complaint on record and the case is active. Investigative steps have been initiated by the authorities.
- To date, the accused – my husband, Tosif Virani, has not appeared at the police station or in court in response to the FIR (as far as I know).
- My gold jewellery is still being withheld by the accused mother-in-law in Mumbai and has not been returned.
What I am doing next
- I am continuing to pursue the matter through the legal process and working with the local police to ensure the complaint is fully investigated.
- I will seek all appropriate legal remedies to recover my belongings and to ensure the accused are called to account.
- I am exploring options to escalate the matter if needed, including legal follow-up in court and requesting whatever cross-jurisdictional assistance is required if the accused remain abroad.
